Halloween Treats
I've seen lots of cute projects on the Internet using the empty Starbucks Frappachino bottles- the problem is that I don't drink coffee and neither does anyone else in the house. Then a few weeks ago I came downstairs and found the mess my DS and his friends left for me. I was just about to deliver yet another lecture about trashing the house when I saw that one of the half empty items sitting around was a Starbucks bottle! This softened my anger at the mess a bit.
After soaking off the label, I washed the bottle and cap in the dishwasher.
To decorate the bottle I used the Happy Halloween Rub-On from the Level 3 Holiday Happenings Bundle. In addition, even though you can't really see them, I also added a row of dots from the same Rub-Ons. To cover the top I punched circles of Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip card stock along with a Scallop Circle of Pumpkin Pie.
It's finished off with Chocolate Chip wide grosgrain and Pumpkin Pie narrow grosgrain ribbon.
Lastly, because I wanted this to have a nice fall look, I filled the bottle with Reece Pieces. I'd like to save this for a hostess gift for a workshop I've got coming up, but I just don't know how long I can stay away from those Reece Pieces!
Happy Stampin'
BTW, look for changes to my monthly card kit program. Due to policy changes from Stampin' Up! I am able to offer kits from past months (assuming at the featured stamp set and accessories have not retired). Therefore, I will be adding a link in the right column in the next couple of days to allow you to order past kits. As before, you can order just the kit, the kit and the featured stamp set, or the card kit, stamp set, and accessories. For these past kits, unless otherwise noted, your kit will ship within 3 business days of your order. The coordinating stamps and accessories will be ordered and shipped separate from the actual card kit and will arrive in 7-10 business days directly from Stampin' Up!
